Jan Rose Distel
Since 1972, Jan's need to inspire, inform and motivate has been the thread tying together her non-profit careers in teaching, public television and the arts, her personal experiences as a cancer survivor and her business life filled with booms and busts.
In 2008 at 59, Jan hit rock bottom when her husband died after a 13 month battle with cancer, their real estate business dissolved and she found herself six figures in debt to the IRS, credit card companies and the medical industry. Jan vowed that if she could get herself out of that mess and create a life that she loved, she would make it her mission to help other women create the bold, juicy, kick ass second fifty they deserved.
She's publisher of the magazine BoomerChickUniverse. She's a Re-Invention Specialist coaching other women.
