Michael "Mike" Rogers
Michael "Mike" Rogers is a CNN National Security Commentator. Rogers served as an officer in the U.S. Army, a special agent in the FBI, and a Michigan state Senator before his election to Congress in 2000. Rogers then served as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district, from 2001-2015. A member of the Republican Party, Rogers also was Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Now offering a short, daily commentary for radio syndication company Westwood One, Rogers appears regularly in the media as an expert on national security and intelligence matters. A Distinguished Fellow at the prestigious Hudson Institute, Rogers also serves on the Board of Trustees at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress.
