Joe Barkai is an independent industry analyst and consultant whose experience spans product development, product management, and technical and business consulting in industries that include automotive, industrial equipment, high tech and medical equipment. Joe’s consulting practice focuses on methods, processes and information technology tools to improve operations and decision-making capabilities in all product lifecycle phases: innovation, design and engineering, manufacturing, after-sales service, and end-of-life. His current activities include the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), connected cars, telematics and PLM.
