Once a single mom struggling to make ends meet with little education and low self-esteem, now Fresh Start CEO Susan helps women transform their lives and plan for successful futures. Fresh Start Women's Foundation has empowered thousands of women by offering free and low cost programs and services in the areas of economic self-sufficiency, education and personal development. Susan graduated from ASU with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters degree in Counseling. Susan’s skills at creative program design and collaborative approaches have resulted in significant changes in the delivery model at Fresh Start that assists clients navigate the services efficiently and optimally to ensure ultimate success in reaching goals and finding self-sufficiency. Fresh Start moved from a two star program in Charity Navigator to a four star charity…a significant increase in community confidence.
