Mohammed Jama Dalal
Mr. Mohammed Dalal is the Head of Technical Services at Commercial Bank of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. He received his Bachelor of Business Information Technology degree and subsequently Master of Science degree in IT Management from Strathmore University. Over his 12 year career, he has held senior IT management roles in key commercial banks in Kenya such as CFC Stanbic Bank (affiliated to Standard Bank South Africa) and Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA). At CBA, he has been an integral member of the team that launched the innovative M-Shwari product that has had a significant impact on the Kenyan banking industry. The product is renowned for onboarding 1 million customers in just 40 days and 12 million customers in just 3 years. In addition to being an IT professional, Mr. Mohammed has been a contributor in digital disruption discussion forums; most recently at the Seedstars World Final event held in February 2015 at Geneva, Switzerland and Temenos Community Forum(TCF) held in May 2014
