Todd Jones

Todd Jones was born in Evanston, Illinois Dec. 17th, 1966. Enlisted in the US Army’ delayed entry program in 1987 After Basic Combat Training at FT. Dix, he was stationed at FT Eustice, Virginia. Commissioned into the Infantry in 1994 he served as a Rifle Platoon Leader in the Illinois Army National Guard before transferring to the US Army Reserve’s 85th Div. In 98 1LT Jones was selected for command of the HHC, 244th Avn Bde. After three years he returned to the 85th Div. and supported the Division’s mission as part of Operations Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terror through various staff positions retiring in 2008 after a 20 year career. In 2011 he and fellow veterans created the Warrior Scuba Project to provide veterans and their families an opportunity to leverage the dynamic activity of SCUBA as an alternative to healing and transitioning from military service. He lives in Orland Park, IL and serves as the Executive Director of the organization.
