David Steinberg
David Steinberg is an author, editor, photographer, and publisher of artistic, imaginative sexual and erotic material. His books include This Thing We Call Sex: A Radically Sensible Look at Sex in America; Divas of San Francisco: Portraits of Transsexual Women; Photo Sex: Fine Art Sexual Photography Comes of Age; Erotic by Nature: A Celebration of Life, of Love, and of Our Wonderful Bodies; and The Erotic Impulse: Honoring the Sensual Self. For 15 years he wrote a syndicated monthly column on sex and gender issues, Comes Naturally. Over the last 15 years he has photographed the intimate sexuality of over 160 couples of all ages, body types, ethnicities, and sexual preferences, attempting to capture on film the honest emotions of people engaged in sex. He was named Erotic Photographer of the Year in 2010 by the Leydig Trust (London), and Master of Erotic Art by the Seattle Erotic Art Festival in 2012. He is working on two books of sexual photographs, Loving Couples, and SexAbility.
