Roy Savage


Roy was born May 25th, 1970 in Seward Alaska. From 1989-1993, he served as an Operations Specialist and Ship’s Rescue Swimmer in the US Navy. He served on three tours of duty including Operation Desert Shield. For the last two years, Roy has dedicated his life to advocating for veteran issues, helping veterans seeking services, and serving as a leader in the veteran community. In 2014, he started Mindful Warriors as a means to advocate for veterans and to implement veteran outreach programs. He is the Program Manager for the Heroes Therapeutic Outreach Program, Co-Chair for Joining Community Forces-Missoula and serves as the weekend support staff and veteran advocate for the Valor House- a homeless veteran transitional program. “I absolutely love working with veterans every day. I have made it my personal mission to help the veteran community overcome their adversities and reintegrate into civilian life." My motto is "Continuing the Mission, So Others May Live"
