Richard A Brooks
Located in Jackson, Mississippi, Richard Brooks founded RBI, his private investigation agency, in 2006. His background includes United States Air Force Police, Mississippi National Guard, and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and as a member of both the Narcotics Street Crime Suppression and the Pharmaceutical Diversion Unit. His law enforcement career includes vice and narcotics, undercover, case agent, K-9 handler, Field Crime Scene Technician, and Field Training Officer.
Now immediate past-president of the Mississippi Professional Investigator’s Association, he served as a three-term president, is a passionate supporter of private investigator licensing, and has worked tirelessly to achieve PI licensing in the State of Mississippi. Richard holds PI licenses in Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. He is also a member of several State PI trade associations and the National Association of Legal Investigators.
