Naomi Hirabayashi and Marah Lidey
Shine co-founders, Naomi Hirabayashi and Marah Lidey, have a background in millennial engagement, tech for good, and building products for scale. Prior to creating Shine in November 2015, they both served in senior positions at DoSomething.org, one of the largest orgs for young people and social change in the world, playing an instrumental role in helping the organization scale from zero to over five million members.
As the Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Mobile Product and Messaging, Hirabayashi and Lidey respectively, led the strategy for the DoSomething.org marketing and messaging teams to support global social action campaigns.
