Karen Kain

Karen Kain a highly respected parent advocate for special needs families, has written an empowering book about raising her only daughter, Lorrin, in a wheel chair for fifteen years after a reaction to a vaccination left her only able to blink at 6 weeks old. In A Unique Life Fully Lived, Karen shares her years of raising Lorrin, who was blind, non-verbal, and a quadriplegic. Karen appears in "Vaxxed', showing the seizures her daughter received 2 hours after her first and only vaccine. The seizures continued daily for the rest of her life. Karen travels around the US, speaking at The Abilities Expo, Autism One Conference, health conferences, schools, and hospitals. She inspires families, teachers, and caregivers with the beauty and importance of each soul, no matter their ability and teaches how to raise these children with a full life, as she raised Lorrin with everything from participating in the Miss Teen Pasadena Pageant to horseback riding lessons.
