Jeb Brugmann

Jeb Brugmann is an internationally recognized urbanist. As a practitioner and thinker on strategy and innovation, Jeb devises solutions to help local communities access the benefits of globalization and helps global organizations to engage in local communities and markets. Jeb is author of the 2009 book Welcome to the Urban Revolution: How Cities Are Changing the World, and a contributor to four books on urban sustainability. He has published in Harvard Business Review, winning the 2007 McKinsey Award for best article. He has worked on the ground in scores of cities and rural regions in 28 countries as founder and chief executive of major international organizations. Jeb is a faculty member of the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, and has lectured at other universities across the world. Jeb has played a pioneering role in three areas of next practice: global civil society organization, urban sustainability, and bottom of the pyramid business development.
