Paul H. Ray
Paul H. Ray, PhD, is co-author of The Cultural Creatives and Director of the Institute for the Emerging Wisdom Culture at Wisdom University in San Francisco, CA, which expands on his historic work into “cultural creatives,” a group emerging some fifty years ago and now over 70 million strong in the United States alone. These are people committed to technology and economic prosperity but not at the cost of environment or community. Paul is also Research Director of State of the World Forum and past Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, Chief of Policy Research on Energy Conservation and Solar in the Canadian Government, and Vice President of American LIVES, Inc. He has headed research for over 100 major projects, currently delving into such areas as "the New Political Compass," design of a wisdom civilization, and working with NGOs, governments, and green businesses. He received his BA from Yale University and his PhD from the University of Michigan.
