Isabel Maxwell

Isabel is President of Maxwell-Communications, senior consultants on cross-border communications, fundraising & coaching, to Hi-Tech & Clean-Tech companies & NGOs. She is a Technology Pioneer of the World Economic Forum & former long-time President of Commtouch Software. She has 25 years of management experience in the online corporate world & traditional media. She is a Founder of the pioneering search engine, Magellan, acquired by Excite in 1996. Isabel has a prior career in Film & is a Founder Director of the British Academy of Film & TV Arts - L.A. Her Producer credits include the Feature Film, ‘’68 ‘ starring Neil Young, & ‘Bhutan - A Strange Survival’ for PBS. She is a freelance writer & invited speaker at international conferences on Communications & Social Entrepreneurship. She believes passionately in the ability of individuals to positively impact social problems. French-born & Oxford educated, Isabel has divided her time between California & Israel for the past 13 years.
