Jeff Marcous is Co-Founder and President of Dharma Merchant Services in San Francisco – a green-certified and socially responsible provider of credit card processing accounts. After having started in the industry eighteen years ago as a direct salesman, and then moving to mid-management for the largest Independent Sales Organization (ISO), Jeff recognized the new market opportunity in e-commerce and in 1998 became the driving force behind the success of Authorize.Net – the largest payment gateway provider in the country. ‘What I really want to do while I’m here is to unravel the mysteries of the universe, but in the process I get to express that knowledge and understanding through our relationships with our merchant friends who need critical payment accounts. At the same time we can offer financial means of support to non-profit organizations that are contributing to the health and well-being of people and places in need.
