Eric Janszen

Eric Janszen is a visionary, economic analyst, author and speaker, former CEO, and capitalist. Frequently interviewed and quoted on CNBC, NPR, WSJ, Barron’s, New York Times and many other media, Eric is president of iTulip, Inc. and founder of iTulip.com. He has a track record of timely and accurate economic predictions starting with the forecast of a ten-year bear market in technology stocks after the tech bubble peak he noted in March 2000. In 2002, he warned of the housing bubble and noted its peak in mid 2006, predicting “The US will enter a severe recession within a year” as housing collapsed, and in 2007 forecasting “US stock markets will decline 40 percent in 2008 in a Debt Deflation Bear Market." Eric is author of America’s Bubble Economy (2006), and his new book, The Post-Catastrophe Economy (2010), explains what’s wrong with the economy and how we can fix it. He earned a B.S. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
