James Cawood
James Cawood has assessed & managed over 4000 violence related cases of threat assessment, violence risk assessment, behavioral analysis, violence prevention, security analysis, and incident resolution in the past 25 years, He has provided consultation and training on the design and implementation of threat assessment, violence risk assessment, and incident response protocols as well as being involved in foundational work for the ASIS International Workplace Violence Guideline and RAGE-V for the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Cawood has a Masters in Forensic Psychology, is co-author of “Violence Assessment & Intervention, The Practitioners Guide,” is president of Factor One, a CA private investigation agency and past president of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. He is also a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Assoc, California Association of Licensed Investigators and National Council of Investigation & Security Services.
