GERALD MCFADDEN

GERALD MCFADDEN serves as President/CEO Volunteers of America (VOA), Southwest California, a position he has held since July 1982. He has bee with VOA since 1982 and held other positions including President/CEO, Oregon; Vice President, Marketing & Program Development, Greater Los Angeles. He also served as Director of Rehabilitation & Treatment Services for People Coordinated Services, Los Angeles. McFadden has Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Urban & Regional Planning from Pepperdine University and Bachelors Degree Sociology from Syracuse University. McFadden has completed specialized training in Ministry; Continuous Quality Improvement; and Leadership Development. McFadden served as Adjunct Professor at Portland State University. He served on the National Board of Directors with VOA; chaired the National Pension Committee and co-founded VOA’s Executive Leadership Development Program. He served as Board Director with Oregon Local United Way Board and as Executive Chair with UNCF San Diego.
