Mike Consol

Mike Consol is president of MikeConsol.com, a firm dedicated to helping companies build their communications prowess and expand into the interactive realm. He is also creator and host of the radio talk-show Boomtown Business on KDOW in the San Francisco Bay Area. Consol spent 17 years with American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of metropolitan business journals. While at ACBJ, Consol held a variety of key posts including Associate Publisher, San Francisco Business Times; Publisher, East Bay Business Times; writing and reporting coach, American City Business Journals; Vice President, bizjournals.com; Publisher, Portland Business Journal and Editor, San Francisco Business Times. Prior to ACBJ, Consol was managing editor of the Los Angeles Business Journal and was news editor of the Pasadena Star-News. Consol is a native of upstate New York. He attended Arizona State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in political science.
