Park Dietz

Dr. Dietz simultaneously earned an M.D., a Masters degree in public health, and a Ph.D. in sociology. He founded both Threat Assessment Group, Inc. and the forensic consulting firm of Park Dietz & Associates, Inc. Dr. Dietz has been named the “Top 25 Most Influential People in the Security Industry” by Security magazine and was awarded the “Seymour Pollack Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education in Forensic Psychiatry”. Dr. Dietz is a forensic psychiatrist for both the FBI's Profiling and Behavioral Assessment Unit and the NY State Police Forensic Sciences Unit. Dr. Dietz has testified and/or consulted in such notable cases as John Hinckley, Jeffrey Dahmer, Susan Smith, Polly Klaas, John DuPont, Unabomber, DC sniper, and workplace violence cases of every description. He has unsurpassed experience in cases involving multiple victim homicides, including workplace, school, family, and stranger mass murders, sexual serial killings, and serial killings with bombs or poisons.
