Education is a strong attribute among many African American women today due to their ability to rise above challenges and master goals. Dr. Young’s discussion with Dr. Soraya Coley, a newly appointed college president in one of the nation’s prestigious colleges, will share her transformation journey. Often referred to as a “community-minded” administrator, she will also discuss whether women are creating a new paradigm of leadership in education and what it takes to succeed as an African American female leader in education.
