Wide Open is a NFL sports talk show. As the name indicates and in Bad Moon style – the talk show will have a no holds barred weekly discussion on NFL topics. As Rison has now taken over the coaching world, he has the ability to comment on players of all levels and will feature a high school player of the week. The show will include celebrity guests that include professional athletes, coaches, music artists and more.

Rison has a following as an athlete, coach, celebrity and an artist. These fans have been waiting to hear what Andre Rison has to say. Wide Open is broadcast live every Thursday at 3 PM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Sports Channel.

Andre Rison

Andre Rison is a 5 Time All-Pro Receiver and 2 Time World Champion. He finished his NFL career with 84 touch downs and more than 10,000 receiving yards landing him a place in NFL History books. Rison played 13 seasons in the NFL and is the most notable football player to win a World Championship in the NFL and in the CFL. No wide out in NFL history caught as many passes as Rison in the first 5 years of his NFL career. Rison was a first round draft pick out of Michigan State University where he was an integral part of his team winning the most recent Spartan Rose Bowl Championship. At MSU, Rison was all-time leading receiver and set single-season records for the Spartans. Rison also lettered on the MSU basketball team and was All Big Ten in track. Before attending Michigan State University, Rison attended Flint Northwestern High School in MI where he played an amazing eight different positions on the football squad. Rison was an All-State punter and All- State prep point guard. Rison lead his high school basketball team to a 55-1 record and still ranks as the school's all-time assist leader. This 1984-85 Flint Northwestern Basketball Team Dynasty was recently announced as a 2009 selection for the Greater Flint Sports Hall Of Fame.

Rison has gained recent notoriety as being the TOP youth and high school receiver coach in the country and has started the ANDRE RISON FOOTBALL ACADEMY. Rison also owns Bullpen Records & Films and is a songwriter and film maker.
