Alan Birkenfeld

Alan Birkenfeld is a West Texan rancher raising pastured beef, lamb, chicken and goat. He uses no feed lots, drugs, or concentrated feedlot grains. His Paidom Ranch, located in Nazareth Texas between Amarillo and Lubbock, is home to several hundred acres of organic grass and animals, as well as Alan and his family. Rancher Birkenfeld has a Master’s Degree in Range Science from Utah State, and a BA in Finance and Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M. Raised on a conventional farm and ranch using pesticides, antibiotics, and commercial corn and soy feeds, Birkenfeld changed to the smaller, hands-on farm economics of free ranging animals, not clustered in toxic feedlots. Demand for pastured meats has soared, and Alan ships all over the country. He also delivers meats to 26 Texas cities on a 2 month rotation, pulling a large freezer truck. Did you know that your brain is activated by motion? That strong bones play a huge role in your immune system? All that and more is why we need to get out of the chair and move it around. Clifton Harski of www.movnat.com will be an honored guest to tell us much more. Don't miss this.... Primal Diet – Modern Health

Wednesday at 9 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel

There’s a Revolution sweeping the world of food and health. Traditional Diets are making a comeback, encouraging us to reinvent everything we thought we knew about health.

Start with eating like a Human Being, with the Primal Diet we evolved to eat. Are you craving carbs? Afraid of butter and cholesterol? Well, get ready to throw Conventional Wisdom on its head and feast on health instead.

While we’re at it, let’s rethink energy, sleep, weight, mood, hormones, supplements and exercise. In fact, let’s rewrite The Human Owner’s Manual. Isn’t it time you discovered what works for YOU and not what the textbooks say?

You can do it, one day at a time, and it can even be FUN. That’s Primal Diet, Modern Health. Health With a Dose of Humor. Primal Diet, Modern Health, is broadcast live every Wednesday at 9 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness.

Beverly Meyer

Beverly Meyer is a Holistic and Clinical Nutritionist, with an MBA from Emory University. She is a passionate advocate for the art of self-care. In practice since 1985, her Naturopathic approach encourages others to find their unique and personal solutions without following traditional thinking, or just settling for relief of symptoms.

Until health challenges led her to a health make-over in the 1980’s, she owned and managed six small businesses, receiving national recognition in magazines such as Entrepreneur, Glamour and Money. She is currently the owner of the Diet and Health Center, her private practice for classes and clients, and Center for Life, the largest natural health center in San Antonio, Texas.

Her philosophy in solving each person’s health puzzle is to first REMOVE those things causing stress and harm, such as intolerant foods, and poor choices in drugs, supplements, and lifestyle. Only then are supplements or therapies added. This approach has let Beverly help others who have been on the health path for years without success. Food First is her motto. It’s Health with a Dose of Humor.
