Overcoming stage-fright and enormous fear of rejection, she became an award-winning vocalist, before making the leap to live in the USA and becoming an inspirational speaker and personal development trainer. Being immersed in the overwhelm of some of life’s greatest challenges be it divorce, death of a loved one, diagnosis of a chronic or terminal illness or other, can force even the most “together” of us into a dark night of the soul.
After being married for seventeen years and bearing three children, I became divorced when they were ages 7,9 and 11. The process of discovering if divorce was the right choice, the pain of coming to terms with it being the correct decision, the strength it took to haul my booty out of the home that had been my ex’s family's home, and having to commute 60 miles each day to see our children was brutal.
Through my own transformation, I created a very simple well-rounded approach to empowering myself through mental, physical, emotional and spiritual behavior changes that reshaped my path and my world. I have a BA in Neuroscience, and a MA in Health Services Administration. I am a certified Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches, and I have completed a two year women’s empowerment program in the Dianic Aloha tradition bringing an understanding of ancient stories and their relevance to our conversation.
Additionally, I write regularly for The Mother Rising blog, the YourTango Experts page and Divorcedmoms.com. I’d be honored to be your guide back to your own deepest wisdom. It's not a journey for the faint of heart, but if you are looking for true joy, love and freedom, it's the only journey.
