[Bookmark] In the history of the game there have been many characters that have made the game so popular. Gump Worsley, Don Cherry, my co host Dave Schultz just to name a few. But our guests this week take it to a whole new level. They have become icons in the game and even if you are not a hockey fan (God forbid) odds are you know our guests. The stars of the cult movie Slap Shot will share their experiences and how this opportunity has made them stars long after their careers were over. Dave Hanson has a book out called Slap Shot Original. His son also is playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs as well. It will be a great time and Dave and I are both looking forward to having Dave on the show.
Dave Schultz is a legend that carved a name for himself in the 70s as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers aka.Broad Street Bullies while winning two Stanley Cup Championships. Dave still holds the record for penalty minutes with 4135 Penalty Minutes.
