Small Business is a way of life for many of us. Think of it as a verb – not a noun. The business owner lives and breathes his or her business each day, dealing with foreign competition, financial stress, and an ever-increasing web of federal, state, and local government regulation. On Business Owners Speak we accentuate the positive and speak with other business owners who have to meet a payroll and make a profit in the real world. The politicians keep telling us that small business owners are the “backbone” of the American economy. Washington is right about that; and Scott, Jay, and most of their guests on the Show know we need to be very careful complicating the business owner’s life unless we break that backbone.
