Larry Watkins

Phillip Judah’s years of experience involved in the promotion, production, development for and the publishing of souvenir programs and playbills for theatrical and special event enterprises has given him the knowledge of what is and who are instrumental in the entertainment industry. He received his B.S. in Physics at TCU in 1969. His professional experience includes Promotion, production, and publishing for Greater Texas Entertainment, Greater American Entertainment, Entertainment International, Texas Super Racing Series, Texas Stock Car Racing Championships, and University Interscholastic League of Texas High School Basketball Championships. Additionally, Phillip has served as Development of Film and benefit events for Austin Home Grown productions. Co-host Larry Watkins served as the Juneteenth Committee organizer in Tucson, Arizona, before moving to Austin, Texas. He is filling roles in development and his broadcast experience includes DJ and Program Host at KAZI-FM (88.7) in Austin from 1984-1986.

 

The Phillip Station

Phillip’s professional career began in the P.T. Barnum tradition with the booking, promotion and production of Magic Stage Shows under the auspices of various civic clubs and charitable organizations. It has evolved to the sophisticated marketing of major corporate sponsors for exposure targeting spectators and participants of repertory theatres, concerts, sporting events and other special event literature plus the major performing and visual arts programs. You will meet some of the most interesting individuals involved with the creation and continuity of the entertainment industry, including music, theatre, auto racing, movies, and journalism. Larry Watkins his associate and co-host is experienced in broadcast and underwriting for publicly supported radio stations. Phillip and Larry will provide insight into the history involving those on whose support and development the industry has its foundation. The Phillip Station airs live Wednesdays at 9 AM Pacific on VoiceAmerica Business.
