Marti Spiegelman is an initiated shaman, diviner, and mentor with more than 30 years of specialized training in shamanic traditions and related fields. She holds a BA in biochemistry from Harvard and an MFA in graphic design from Yale. She is also trained in visionary craniosacral work, psychology, and neurophysiology.
Marti ran her own design firm for 20 years and brings her business experience to her current work. She developed a course for her students revealing the shamanic principles that drive the creation of lasting business success, wealth, and philanthropy in the modern world. She also serves as a mentor for the educational programs at The Investment Mentoring Institute in California.
Her interest in the evolution of consciousness springs from her scientific background combined with the powerful teachings of her initiations. Her insights into shamanic technologies, the related miracles of neurobiology, and our human capacity to create and evolve provide the inspiration for the discussions she leads in her trainings and in talks around the world.
Marti’s journey into her own initiation includes extensive travels in the Arctic, South America, Nepal, Africa, and Siberia. Her training has occurred primarily in private mentor relationships and initiations with indigenous shamans and diviners on four continents. She is the founder of Shaman’s LightSM, a shamanic initiation and mentoring program for professionals who want to make a difference in the world.
