Robert Leigh Pruitt, II an informal educator and trainer since 1985, specializes in the development of programs that provide youth and adults an opportunity to understand that they are to share the gift they are with the world (1 Peter 4:10). Robert provides leadership training, motivational speaking, and spiritual life coaching throughout the world.
Robert has conducted diversity training for the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy, Maryland Criminal Justice Association, and Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. His client family also includes Sesame Workshop, The American Society on Aging, Mayors Office of Employment Development, The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, The National Student Leadership Conference, Operation Smile, Inc. and individual high schools and colleges. He serves as Co-Director for InnerVisions Spiritual Life Coaching Program owned by noted author and television personality Dr. Iyanla Vanzant.
Robert has authored Out of the Box – Sharing the gift you are with the world, Leadership & Advocacy in Pharmacy, Understanding Male Power and Its Role in Relationships and African American Males in School and Society. He has appeared on CNN, Oprah, and several local and national radio shows.
Robert is the son of the late Bishop Robert L. Pruitt, 103rd Bishop of the AME Church and Lola Boxley, 24-year-veteran teacher of the D.C. Public Schools and a proud father to twin sons Marshall Ellis and Aiden Bishop Pruitt.

Each week we will take you on a Wizard of Oz-like journey. The Gift generates conversations designed to inspire you to implement unique solutions to real world issues that plague our society. Our topics include but are not limited to leadership, service, vision, relationships, family, talent/skills/abilities, self-esteem, self-talk, fear/love, values, spirituality, ego and community service. The Gift is broadcast live every Saturday at 11 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel.
