Jeff Pelletier has been called to see work as ministry since accepting Christ in 1987. He is a full-time Organizational Effectiveness Consultant and an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He earned his Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN at age 48, graduating in June of 2000. He has an undergraduate degree in Communications. Jeff’s passion since becoming a Christian in 1987, has been the effective integration of the Christian Faith and all matters pertaining to work. Upon being saved he committed to finding out for himself if Christianity really applies to the workplace. He observed that we spend about 60% of our awake time at our jobs and that many people had placed a wall of separation between God’s work, and their work from 9 to 5. Since that time Jeff has devoted himself as a minister and a business consultant to integrating how faith in God and our jobs fit together. He has learned, and now teaches, that not only does God care about our work-lives but that he is very much involved in them in every way, every day!!! God wants our work to be light and salt. He wants our businesses and work to be profitable, gainful and fulfilling. He wants to destroy greed, and envy, and contempt. God wants to restore the work as ministry.
God’s Work in Progress is about bringing the life, brilliance, love, excellence and power of God back into the workplace, where it has always belonged. Christians are “up against it” every day. Our lives at work are typically mundane, stressful, lacking any semblance of joy. We find it difficult to serve both God and Money. God’s Work in Progress will help you to transform your work-life into what God has in mind for it. Nearly everyone believes that they are created for a purpose but hardly anyone knows what this purpose is. We will not only help you find your “life’s work” but we will reveal that your purpose is right there, hiding in plain sight!!!
