He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Richmond in 2013. John Thompson

John Thompson is a native of Lancaster, SC. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Liberty University. John is passionate about working with the youth and their families. He has a background in both early childhood and secondary education; he has taught and continued to be heavily involved with the communities that he has stayed in. Since moving to Charlottesville Va, he has a newfound love for mentorship, counseling, self-care, and spreading the awareness and importance of mental health to the black and brown community. He is currently pursuing his licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and works as a Family Service Specialist for the City of Charlottesville. Joh
