She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and certifications in Life Care Planning and Medical Case Management. She is highly impacted by the adverse effects of PTSD secondary to ACEs. She herself has overcome extreme adverse childhood experiences with the highest ACE score of 10. Angela’s health has been adversely affected as she suffers from multiple autoimmune disorders. It's important to find role models in this and Angela is one. Angela Howard grew up in rural Mississippi and was the only person in her immediate family to attend college. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and further certifications in medical case management and life care planning. Angela has begun a new journey as a motivational speaker to bring increased awareness of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in women and those who have suffered adverse childhood experiences (ACES). She is the founder of the PTSD-ACED Foundation, providing valuable resources to educators, healthcare professionals, and those who have endured ACEs. She resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
