Kentucky-born Christopher Shy is a writer and self-taught artist. His first published work came at the age of sixteen, and he later emerged as a leading figure of this groundbreaking new medium of digital art. Shy later went on to cofound Ronin Arts and Artemis Publishing, as well as Blackwatch Comics with Michael Easton, with whom he also collaborated on the critically-acclaimed Soul Stealer trilogy.
