Kevyn Major Howard is a Hollywood Actor and Producer, known for his performance as "Rafterman" in the film Full Metal Jacket (1987). Kevyn Major Howard founded Fueled By The Fallen, 501(c)3 non profit organization which is one of his most major career accomplishments to help heal our nation following the devastating attacks suffered on September 11, 2001. Kevyn Major Howard, his beloved family, skilled Angel Car Drivers and dedicated team of volunteers over the years have served effortlessly and traveled the nation with military, paramilitary agencies and fellow charities to make sure there is no first responder, law enforcement officer, or military member left behind that has been injured or paid the ultimate sacrifice during the attacks on 9/11 onward. The five iconic 9/11 Angel Series, Custom Chevrolet Camaros, represent Freedom, Family, and Forgiveness for lives lost and their sacred remembrance by name is stenciled onto the Angel Cars by each site where loss occurred on September 11, 2001. The Angels Series Camaro drivers steer in unison along the parade routes with sheer patriotism each year as the streets are lined with Americans, Old Glory, and hearts filled with bittersweet sorrow and unconditional love. Thank you Kevyn Major Howard for creating FTBF, an organization that has done so much to help the world remember the valor, honor, and legacy of our 9/11 heroes and their loved ones.May is mental health awareness month and we acknowledge the fact that history repeats itself causing damage and fresh recollection to us as we are left behind. The effects are post-traumatic as we must recall, relive, and reconcile that fateful day. Kevyn's testimony comes from a personal, professional, and philanthropic perspective and will give us reassurance, peace, and a glimpse of New Americanism as we speak about current war, racism, trauma, and the fight against suicides, depressions, anxieties, and sadness in today's world Post 9/11 and Semi-Post Pandemic. Mental Health is real and affects the Soldier, the Responder, and the young and mature bystander alike. Kevyn, we appreciate your application of resilience, readiness, empathy, and relaxation on camera as we reflect on your role as "Rafterman" because we know your compassion to military heroes runs deeper than a Full Metal Jacket. Semper Fidelis.
