We will talk about parents investing in their kid's futures in sports. What does it take to get your son or daughter recruited to play college sports. We will also talk about helicopter parents! We will discuss the positives and negatives of pushing your son/ daughter hard in their sport. We will discuss the impact both positive and negative that parents have on their kids when getting recruited. We will talk about the affordable luxuries once a son or daughter has accomplished the ultimate goal of making it to the pro's with the guidance and structure of the parents! We will talk about parents influence or lack there of on NLI signing day for high schools kids to choose their colleges.

We talk about previous and upcoming games, and also have interactive discussions on draft choices, free agency in both the NFL and NBA. We bring you up to date news on college recruiting, who's going where, and why. Our Guests include former professional and college athletes. Hurlie Brown is a former college and professional football player as well as a college and high school football coach. He played college football at the University of Miami in Florida. He was a starter for two NCAA championship teams between 1989 and 1991. In 1992 he coached in a national championship game between the University of Miami and the University of Alabama. He had some NFL stints playing with the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers. Hurlie spent four years in Canadian Football as part of the Montreal Alouettes. He also was with the Sacramento Goldminers and the San Antonio Texans.
Hurlie’s coaching career includes assistance in starting up a college football program from scratch at Florida International University. He’s also coached the Ragin’ Cajuns at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and with the University of Miami, Florida, bringing him full circle to the first team he played for. In 2016, Hurlie was a Minority Intern for the Oakland Raiders.
