Hurlie Brown

Hurlie Brown is a former college and professional football player as well as a college and high school football coach. He played college football at the University of Miami in Florida. He was a starter for two NCAA championship teams between 1989 and 1991. In 1992 he coached in a national championship game between the University of Miami and the University of Alabama. He had some NFL stints playing with the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers. Hurlie spent four years in Canadian Football as part of the Montreal Alouettes. He also was with the Sacramento Goldminers and the San Antonio Texans.

Hurlie’s coaching career includes assistance in starting up a college football program from scratch at Florida International University. He’s also coached the Ragin’ Cajuns at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and with the University of Miami, Florida, bringing him full circle to the first team he played for. In 2016, Hurlie was a Minority Intern for the Oakland Raiders.
