Episode Description

Today's guest is Goldie Chan. Not only is her hair green, but people know her as the LinkedIn queen. I've been on LinkedIn for a long time. LinkedIn hates me. When I write an article, I get 30 views. When I put the same article on Medium, it gets hundreds of views. But on Quora, it gets 10,000+. I've tried many things to really go out there and increase my numbers on LinkedIn, like posting daily inspirational messages and status updates linking off to my articles, but nothing worked. That's until I did a long form status update. Then with the launch of video, the game has been changing for influencers (except me. LinkedIn won't give me video. Boo!). Goldie Chan has been crushing it with LinkedIn video, status updates and networking with others. Tune in to find out exactly how she is doing it and how you can crush it on LinkedIn too.

Prior to that, she went to Stanford where she was a geneticist that researched drosophila melanogaster, trying to isolate new mutations. Don't worry, you don't have to Google what that is. I asked her to give me a simpler answer to what these things were, and she said they were fruit flies.
