It's Halloween, Baby, Spend an Hour with MK, The Good witch
October 31, 2017
Hosted by Dr. Sarah M. Young (DrRed)
Halloween Is sadly misunderstood (holiday)? Religious zealots pressure schools to take Halloween celebrations out of the schools because they think it's some form of devil worship, but it's not – it's not even Halloween, it's "Samhain" pronounced sow-en, and it's just a celebration of the colder season to come, when spring vegetation dies. Hence the very loose connection to death. Death is a part of life after all, and celebrating it by carving pumpkins is not exactly paganism, although some used to think that it could scare away bad spirits. Things developed, and we kinda got connected with Mexico's Day of the Dead, which is certainly festive. In any case, this still does not mean that witches, who are still sorely misunderstood and mistakenly connected to this holiday are bad. Although that's how they're always portrayed, and we only see the good witch in the Wizard of Oz. I think we need more information on the subject, so I invited my favorite Good Witch. JOIN US!
Tuesday at 1 PM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
This show is about taking charge of your mental, physical and spiritual health. It showcases cutting edge healing modalities that may be called new age, but may have been in existence for centuries. Nevertheless, these methods work when all others fail. Add a little laughter, and you have a perfect recipe for healing.
For more than 3 decades, Dr Red has brought allopathic and alternative/complementary healing experts, such as Marianne Williamson, Dr. Rick Jelusich and Richard Bandler, center stage to share their knowledge of various healing techniques with the world.
DrRed's been there, done that, got the T-shirt, and she'll show you how to do it too. Tune in to DrRed Says, broadcasting live every Tuesday at 1 PM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
Dr. Sarah M. Young (DrRed)
Internationally recognized print and broadcast journalist, DrRed, has performed in radio and television since she was seven years old. Her last program, the Mind, Body, and Spirit show, featured practitioners such as Deepak Chopra, and others in allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. With her two doctorates, many certificates in crystal healing, Reiki, Hypnotherapy and such, she’s been called the fusion of Mr. Spock and James Van Prague.
Having survived blindness, paralysis, 30-plus surgeries, brain cancer in 1988, and losing 150 pounds, she knows the value of humor to heal. After recovering from just about everything, she now shares her accomplishments with the world through her nonprofit foundation for veterans and other organizations. She is founder of The So Brave Foundation for veterans, to which the show is dedicated.
DrRed is on a mission to share all the healing modalities that helped her get back on her feet and full of life again. If she can do it, you can do it, and have fun while you're at it. For one hour, rest your body, open your mind and get in the spirit. A session with DrRed is an adventure.
Now recovered from what was deemed terminal cancer, Dr Red is here to encourage you to be healed, healthy and whole, while learning to laugh and love life again.
