Women make up approximately 50% of the today’s workforce in many countries and 40% worldwide, although most of these positions are in not in management. When they are in management, they are normally below the middle management level and not at the executive level. The number of women in executive positions worldwide is less than 10%. If you look at the Fortune 500 companies, the numbers are even worse, accounting for approximately only 4.2%. So, what is happening? Are women not preparing themselves correctly for executive positions? Do women not have enough opportunities? Have women not learned to play the game according to the male rules that have existed forever? With over 60% of today’s university graduates being women, how can women help shift the system and change these statistics? What has to happen to the system to get more women in executive positions? This episode looks at the challenges women face today, as well the opportunities that are available.

She is a certified executive and systemic team coach. Kimberli specializes in cross-cultural leadership training, diversity implementation and leadership training for women and provides training and consulting for several international companies. Kimberli currently serves as Board member of the Search and Information Industry Association, Europe. She is an American national, owner of the international company Global Business Therapy s.r.o. and partner of the Academy of Executive Coaching London.
