Episode Description

Every day, new women come out of the woodwork to allege sexual harassment. Are all of these stories true or are women jumping on the bandwagon to claim their 15 minutes of fame? It's important to separate the wheat from the chaff. One of the accused, Harvey Weinstein, seems to be the most prolific of womanizers, if not rapists. (And yes, he is innocent until proven guilty.) Today's guest, leading attorney Aaron Filler, MD, PhD and JD, is very familiar with the key woman accusing Weinstein of rape, Paz de la Huerta, since he has represented her in another legal matter, as well. The NYPD has declared that Paz' allegations of rape are the most credible and have greatest likelihood of leading to an arrest. But, being a victim of rape-or other serious sexual harassment-leaves psychological scars that make it difficult for women to, not only come forward, but to continue the fray until justice is served. Weinstein's hi-powered lawyers, wealth and desperation make him a formidable foe.
