There are many paths to healing, including chiropractic. But in the end, all paths, no matter where they begin, lead to the central principle that the human body is designed, and functions best, when it is able to do what it is supposed to do, and that is maintain homeostasis, or "good health". Every healer who observes his patients, and pays attention to their responses, will eventually come to the conclusion that properly feeding the body, removing the poisons that people have accumulated, and making sure that joints and nerves are properly functioning will result in optimum health over the long run. Chiropractic is one of the paths leading to the "holy grail" of good health and well-being. Dr. Hakim is an experienced and effective healer, and we'll explore his journey to the healing arts.

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
