Recently, Paul Connett and his wife, both experts on the deadly substance fluorine, went to Washington to testify in the EPA hearings on water fluoridation. They drove for hours from upstate New York to Washington, and were put on the agenda to testify as to the science and effects of fluoride. When they were scheduled to testify, they were told that they had THREE MINUTES to talk, and no more would be allotted, although there was ample time in the schedule for speakers to allow them to speak longer. Any dissent, any mention of the actual science behind the opposition to water fluoridation was completely silenced and suppressed, showing that the EPA is NOT a science-driven agency, but a political agency driven by imperatives different from protecting the environment and population of the United States. Time for this agency to change administrators and/or be abolished, as it is NOT serving its stated purpose, rather just the opposite.

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
