In the past decade, we've seen many changes in our government, as corporations and the ultra-wealthy have found more and more ways to have their voices heard to the virtual exclusion of the voters who put them in office. Even that process has been warped beyond recognition by the corrupting influences of money, special interests and power, so that today, candidates and parties pick their voters as opposed to the ideal where voters pick their candidates. The result of this distortion has been that the government seems to work only for the monied interests, and the concerns that the rest of the population are essentially ignored. Our food, medicine, educational system, administration of justice, electromagnetic spectrum, communications (telephone, Internet, TV, radio) are all being used as weapons against us, as cudgels to force our participation in systems that put us at a disadvantage. We'll be discussing the implications on our health, wealth and survival. Join us!

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
