Episode Description

Just like Japanese management perspectives revolutionized Manufacturing and Quality movements in 1980s and 1990s, time is ripe for Indian management perspectives to do the same for leadership, corporate governance and innovation ideas. Especially transformational leadership and conscious leadership (thanks to the book popular book Conscious capitalism) can be benefitted significantly by adding perspectives on purpose, energy, motivation models, engagement frameworks, agency and wise leadership. I have used Bhagavad Gita concepts integrated with interviews with business leaders in my best selling book From Smart to Wise (translated into French, Portuguese recently) and continue to compare and contrast established western models of leadership and innovation with brain models and spirituality models.
