Episode Description

We always used to hear about building a better mouse trap, but as an OB and Nursery Nurse, I would say what is REALLY needed is a Baby Bottle that eliminates Colic in newborn and young babies. There is nothing that will drive a new parent more insane than the constant and pitiful screams of a baby suffering from gas pain. My guest, Priska Diaz, is not a nurse. What is she? A mother of a colicky baby with a Masters in Science and a determination to come up with something to help babies like hers plus babies, who (for whatever reasons) breast feeding is not an option. Many a mother on an endless night have thought about it and maybe even tried, but Priska was able to accomplish it. Please join us as we talk about the birth of this desperately needed product and call us to share your stories at 866-472-5792

Once a Nurse, Always a Nurse

Once a Nurse, Always a Nurse

Monday at 10 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel

There are SO many issues in healthcare that impact medical/nursing providers and patients alike, but each of them may not see the connections to themselves. This show will be a forum for nurses to tell stories about their own experiences, whether professional or family-focused and guests will inspire conversation on health and nursing-related topics. Issues will vary from communication in healthcare to current issues, such as nurse/patient ratios, dealing with conflict, how to create cooperative workplaces, speed-reading people, as nursing strikes and much more. Government policies are creating a major shift for all healthcare providers as well as their patients. We, as nurses, will be creating the future healthcare paradigms as we move forward, becoming a crucial part of the solutions. “Once a Nurse, Always a Nurse: Exploring the World of Nursing” is broadcast live every Monday at 10 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica’s Health and Wellness Channel.
