We will discuss with one of the sisters from the dynamic Shorter Sisters, Lia, Aka, Diva MD. Dr. Lia has over a 20 year career in the field of OB/ Gyn and has become more specialized in Women’s Sexual Dysfunction. We will have Dr. Shorter give a brief history of her background, upbringing and describe that ultimate push to become to an OB/GYN. The conversation will be an open discussion of all things related to the area down "there". We will dig into some taboo issues as it relates to women’s health and sexual dysfunctions that can occur postpartum.

Dr. LaTasha R. Blanton and Mark E. Blanton
Dr. LaTasha R. Blanton is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and entrepreneur who has owned businesses on two continents with her husband Mark Blanton. She has practiced physical therapy for fifteen years and owned an outpatient private practice for the past ten, which she recently sold in early 2018. Dr. Blanton, affectionately known as Dr. B, has been in a staple in her community in Virginia alongside her husband over the past eleven years.
Dr. B and Mark Blanton co-own a travel company known as The Real South Africa. This is a passion that allows the Blantons to explore their love of travel, especially to South Africa, and take others on a personal guided luxury experience with them. Mr. Blanton’s previous careers in the US Army and US Secret Service afford him abilities that keep Dr. B and all those who experience South Africa with them safe. Together, Team Blanton continues its legacy of making the community better one experience at a time.
