This last weekend, I spent in Dayton, Ohio, attending the first public performance of The Man Who Killed the Cure, a play by noted Los Angeles playwright, Luke Yankee, about the suppression and eventual assassination of Dr. Max Gerson. I'll tell you about the play, the audience, and the reaction to the information. It's a dramatic story, and one that we hope will ignite curiosity and research into the reaction of the American medical community to alternative medicine in general, and the Gerson Therapy in particular. Renowned theater critic Rex Reed has penned a glowing review of the play, particularly focusing on the information presented, saying, "Everyone should see this play, at least twice!"

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
