Episode Description

The US Constitution is the greatest document ever written by the hand of man. But it is not only widely misunderstood, but also widely not read. Our guest, Former 5-term Congressman Chapman Law School Dean Thomas J. Campbell, discusses how our country is being led astray by government officials who are not following the dictates of our Constitution with regard to declarations of war, involvements in healthcare, education and so much more. As Thomas Jefferson said, it is the nature of things for government to gain power at the expense of individual liberties. And that is what we have seen. Listen and you will agree that this has become one of our large problems. Finally, Rep. Campbell tells us that the rumors of wonderful retirement programs for our federal officials are not true. Congress gets no more benefits than any other federal workers.
