Protecting our Great Country's Veterans!
June 14, 2019
Hosted by Judge Jim Gray (Ret.)
One of the largest breaches of contract in our world today is how we treat some of our Veterans. These men and women in our armed forces simply salute and say "Yes Sir" when they are ordered into battle zones. So they have the absolute right to know that if they are injured -- physically, mentally or emotionally -- they will receive the best treatment and care that can be provided. The Veteran's Administration in so many ways does its best to carry out this mandate, but it is understaffed and underfunded. So what can be done? Our guest, Antoinette Balta, Esq., is the executive director and co-founder of the Veteran's Legal Institute in Orange County, California, which is a public interest law firm that represents Vets for no charge if they encounter problems receiving VA benefits, or have untreated mental health issues or suicidal tendencies, problems with landlords, education or homelessness. So help us spread the word that help can be found at VLI!
