With the support of head biologist Sara Pearce Meijerink from the Beaverhill Bird Observatory we explore the field of bird conservation and look at some of the effects of climate change on bird populations. The birth of my daughter in 1989 engaged a change in lifestyle and health, profound changes took place. Circumstances were overbearing, I could not get proper grounding and found help with my native healer. In 1990 I remained clear with my teachers that I would involve myself in healthy grounding of all kinds so that my daughter would receive good health.
Choosing to engage my native roots, Tai Chi and other forms of grounding were offered by elders as an instinctive and natural way to heal. What followed was an interest in how to manage my way of thinking and work with body healing. I was chosen by a Tai Chi Master to receive a development that was unique. This is the platform on which all the teachings are held. In the way of old the foundation given is the only way to set a course for health. I loved our weekly visits and the ease with which we were taught good grounding.
By the year 2000 I was capable and clearly marked for teaching. I worked as a healer and taught prayer support for spiritual people. An ordination was given as way to secure my roots in healership, not as a ministerial director. The practice and power of this health management system over time secured my way in health and protected me from abuse.
